AM / PM Health Drink

Designed by Axis41 | Country: United States

Packaging for the Aviara AM/PM health drinks was designed by Axis41 in Salt Lake City. Aviara is a San Diego-based nutrition company that developed the AM and PM beverage system to help promote a healthy and vibrant life. The AM drink helps to boost energy levels at the start of the day. The PM drink helps to calm and soothe the nerves at the end of the day.

The flowers represent the botanicals that make up the formulation of these two drinks. Growing plants and flowers communicate health, which is exactly what these drinks promote. The bold, clean typography contrasts with the illustrated style of the flowers and helps to convey a sense of health and purpose. The designs were silk screened ink on frosted glass, allowing the color of each drink to become the color of the packaging.

I love everything about this, except for the flowery vines. Remove those and the bottles would be incredible. The colors and the bold type are strong enough without such drastic positioning towards women.

The flowers aren’t even different on the two bottles, so it makes them out to be just uninspired decoration.

nice and clean! Love the typography! however i would say the design looks a bit feminine and it would apply more to the female buyers.

There’s a lot of design examples these days using this sort of floral patterns, so it may seem not that original really, but I still like the idea. The clean typography saves it, in my opinion.

It’s a clever way of naming the drink most of all, easy to recognize its purpose.

I am in agreement with some of the previous comments – the illustrations on each product should directly reinforce the benefit. The flowering vine does not communicate dawn or awakening, nor calm or restful.

Any illustrative addition should not be simply decoration.

As soon as I saw these, I wanted to drink them, so that’s saying something. However, I agree with most people that the flower design takes away a little bit.

love the design, but i think floral design could have represented each sku better by using the open flowers(AM) for the dawning of a the new day and the closed buds to represent the PM. other than that i love the look and feel.

I love these! I agree with another commenter, though, I wish there weren’t flowers and a better design was implemented. I like the bottle shape though.

I love the packaging, design, as well as the bold colors (although that is the actual colors of the drinks themselves!)

Casey, I ordered a case when I saw them because they looked so good…

MsGourmet, it definitely helps through the day (unlike the ups and downs of Red Bull) and the PM puts you out like a baby and leaves you refreshed the next morning.

    Highly recommend!
