Two apples? All this packaging for just two apples? I don’t know, I come from Spain (where we buy apples by kgs) and this sounds like a total waste of resources… but it looks lovely, yeah

I find this quite ugly and I can’t see the point of it for just two apples. It isn’t very eco-friendly.

maybe it’s a high-end apples? not the white glossy kind.
You might neglect to think that packaging speaks about the product itself.
Those apples could be like those high-end water.
Love the artwork and color.

Of course its not very ecofriendly, but like with all designs you have a target and have to do your research.
Aomori is very exclusive apples where the packaging should give even more luxury to the apples. And not to forget this is Japan and not the western countries, its a very different culture with packages there. Its always important to know the task and target for the design you look at, then it can make a lot more sense.
