“This is a concept for the restyling of the Balblair Whisky bottle. The main goal was to give a taste of Scotland to the costumer, from the bottle to the taste of the whisky. We wanted to create a mix of tradition and modernity, so we mixed old traditional materials such as cork and wool with some new hi-tech look materials like aluminum details.”

“costumer” – like the bottle’s dressed up for halloween?

The thick cork contrasted with the aluminium and fabric looks absolutely fantastic.

It does look really nice but doesn’t it look a bit like an old coleman thermos?

What is so nice about this? Has ANYONE tried the whiskey and did it taste ANYTHING like the packaging ?

It looks like an overweight shortbread saleswomen! utterly horrific taste and not a whisky % to it. An over use of materials and techniques and totally missing the point of a rather good drink. Designing and decorating for the sake of it. Pure self pleasure for the design dept here!
I feel sorry for the poor client that not only had to pay for this but also probably had to put up with all the reasons why ‘it worked’.
    give up this nonsense –
I ask again – HAVE YOU TASTED IT?
