“We created a condom brand BANG and a package design for it. Our challenge was to create the true men’s condoms. We wanted men to feel like real warriors when they buy them. Condoms are their bullets, packages are their clips and sex is their battlefield.”

Am I the only one who thinks this concept is ridiculous?
    Two steps backward for humanity…

Kristin, no – you are definitely not the only one. Not surprising that this crap comes from Russia.

I juste like this concept, I think it’s the new vision about sex we should have. Something funny and shifted.
The bullet it an good idea to speak about this, it’s a little like a “One shot”!

idea of catchword: “Reload And Do it Again”

    Good job!!!

I like the concept and design, minus two things:

    – The negative connotation of the word ‘BANG’ as in “she’s just a bang”

    – The poorly chosen slogan ‘make love like war’

I’m tired of the same boring condom packaging, it feels good to see something refreshing. Even if it feels a bit too ‘Alpha Male’

You’re not the only one. This is a terrible concept.

In the meeting… “So you’re saying we can have sex AND violence? Brilliant!”

I assure you, you aren’t the only one that thinks this is ridiculous.

    This is insane.

“Sex is their Battlefield”? As if their partner is their opponent and their goal is to defeat that person. C’mon. This is demeaning. Shame on you, Lovely Packaging.

To be honest I think the concept is interesting, but I still thinking it needs to be polished further.

Some might find this offensive, or completely silly, but I promise you there would definitely be people out there that would buy this.

Same! That was a big ridiculous thing. At first i see as an fun concept but how they talk about, and “sex as your battlefield” ..that is soo desnecessary.

I really like this actually. I think it’s creative, and out of the box compared to the normal stupid, “FIREY PASSION” or “ICY COOL” that you get for other condom brands. It’s a little bit humorous, but a really lovely design and overall concept.

I disagree, even if I don’t approve nor support wars of any kind, I think the concept is quite smart and makes me giggle.

If you find a campaign like this to be offensive you might also have troubles with video games and action movies aswell.

    This is a very bazaar.

    Bang? Guns? Bullets? War?
Not the most sexy things are they.

‘Our challenge was to create the true men’s condoms’ – I don’t see that they have smashed the challenge, maybe in a world of crap stereotypes?

While I’m not cool with equating sex with violence, this does bring new meaning to the term “shooting blanks”.

@Thomas. “Not surprising that this crap comes from Russia…”? Right. Not surprising that there are males in Russia. Not only women in skirts and women in pants, like u, my poor Thomas.

I personally would not bet on this design, but it is super controversial and would probably bring the brand some attention good and bad.

It is more of an art than a product design material.

‘Our challenge was to create the true men’s condoms’ ‘Men who ride horses with their tops off’

Who the hell was the client – Putin?

It must be a Russian thing.

This is AWESOME! And to all the naysayers above: Clearly, you lack a sense of humor which is paramount in the world of graphic design.

Speaking as a sex-positive female, get off your high horses and if this offends you so much, try seeing it from a different point of view. Maybe HE is just a bang! Or maybe, just maybe, you can BANG your significant other.

    Lawd knows I do 😉

BRAVO to you, Lovely Package! And bravo to you, Russia! This is PURE BRILLIANCE and the reason I got into graphic design.

Gee, Lovely Package … I wonder if that’s also an innuendo? HMMM.

I can’t imagine what it’s like living with a thorn-laden stick up my ass all the time. No wonder everything offends you.
