    I’d buy this for no other reason than the packaging. If the beer is any good then it’s a bonus. The logo, the colours, all perfect. But the classic simple can, how I’d love to get my hands on one again.

    This package is HORRIBLE!

    Don’t get me wrong. It LOOKS nice. Very clean design.
    But I had these in my beer set at New Seasons Market at Raleigh Hills (Portland OR) and I can tell you that from a function standpoint this is one of the worst thought out packages ever.

    You see, when you put a six pack of beer into a cooler, the cardboard tends to get very soft. As the packs get cold they get condensation on them and this softens them up. This can happen very quickly -within an hour- and gets worse the longer a package is in the cooler.

    The day we got these in, within an hour, a customer picked one up… and all the cans fell out because the very tiny piece of card holding them in was soft and useless.

    Now, onto the cans themselves…

    As interesting as they look and as “cool” and “retro” as they are… They suck too. They have to include a churchkey with every package since hardly anyone uses them anymore. Because, you know, better ways of packaging liquids have been around for decades. So, there’s a frivolous piece of garbage being produced with every single package. If you like it, they give you a churchkey. If you buy more you don’t need another one! So, it’s just a big waste.
    Getting into the cans themselves seems a lot more fun before you try it. They are a pain in the ass to open. Everyone I’ve talked to that’s tried them has simply used their rotary can opener to open it.

    This is a classic example of a package that looks amazing on paper… But in its implementation is absolutely the worst possible design imaginable on every single level.

    Nice deisgn, but i think the material used is weak, need a better one for 6pack, it’s sort of heavy.
