Truffles from Coco Luxe

Chocolate d├ęcor is not really packaging, is it… But I think that the “print” on these is very nice and in fact better than the box, I’m not totally convinced by the stripes and the white box with the logo. Would the logo directly on the brown dotted box (in white, for example) been more effective and more in line with the chocolates themselves?

The company also seems to use an unbranded box.

    I am not fond of the logo – the weights and rhythm of the typeface look a bit ‘off’. Try to look at it without the logo and it looks pretty good.

    I really agree, Yael, that the logo could need some typographic tweaking (especially weightwise!). Still I think the worst disconnect is with the stripes. It doesn’t really show from these pictures but the papers around the chocolates are evenly spaced stripes (i.e. not like the barcode-y ones on the box) in light brown on white, which adds to my confusion…
