“Enigmatic venturer Éric Cosson came to us with an idea for a range of high-end skincare products. They would be made using effective concentrations of precious and unusual ingredients, such as oyster extract and snake venom, sourced from all over the world.

Together we developed a brand that reflected the high-tech exoticism of Éric’s concept, and a range of packaging to clearly express the unique properties of each product.”

It seems like there was a really interesting opportunity missed to bring the ingredients of each of the products to the forefront. Maybe I’m not picking something up, but I don’t see how the packaging clearly expresses the unique properties of each product at all…

I agree, Callie, I thought the same thing when copying that text from the agency website to the post. There’s some copy on the top that seems to tell the ingredients, but it’s merely listing the contents, what I can see.

To “clearly express the unique properties …”, they could for example have used a text on the box that talks about the active ingredients (snake venom!) in more of a storytelling style. On the other hand, if one disregards that particular claim, I sort of like this kind of secretive style as well, for a high-end product like this.
