Graphos Playing Cards
November 12, 2009 | 56 Comments

Designed by Michelle Lam | Country: Canada
“Graphos Playing Cards are designed to inspire other designers, and also lay people to be more attuned with design through an increased awareness of the importance of typography in a fun and easy-to-understand way.
Each card from the deck of Graphos Playing Cards will tell the unique story of a specific area of focus in typography. All spades highlight on the importance of “anatomy”; hearts on “classification”; clubs on “glyphs”; diamonds on “type setting”. Fonts are focused on sans serif, serif, script and decorative.”

Gorgeous work. Let me know if they get mass produced or sold on Etsy or something similar.
November 12th, 2009 @ 2:00 pm
I agree, get them mass produced!
November 12th, 2009 @ 2:40 pm
Thank you for all the great compliments! I have got Graphos produced but now it’s sold out – only printed a couple decks because friends, teachers, classmates and other designers located in the same city wanted to purchase a deck or two. I’m really flattered to see other designers from different countries hoping to purchase Graphos. I’m thinking about producing more and sell them possibly on Etsy.
