    excelent!

  2. nice eye candy. :-)

  3. I don’t see how this is a “human touch”. There are anonymous photos of people that look more like stock photos than anything. There’s also no sign a human hand has ever touched anything in the production process. They picked a cold, modernist typeface and constructed a very inorganic, grid-like layout. To top it all off the color palette is cold as ice.

    I can’t say it’s not well done. It’s a well executed design, but the concept doesn’t come through as “human” and “individual”. I hope the pictures don’t do this package justice, because I don’t see anything human about this design.

  4. oh my god! this is fantastic! congrats good design, i hope madrid wins with this great book

    @Derek:

    The anonymous photos are volunteers that were randomly selecter to be on the covers. They ARE linked to the Olympics.

    About the gridlike layout, in the outside boxcover there are stamped names of everyone inside of the organisation that is working on the bid. Having been to madrid and talked to the people who designed and made this book I can assure you this is by far the most human book of the four.
