“The packaging design for Moiré were created from the world of the moiré effect phenom – a visual perception that occurs when viewing a set of lines or dots that is superimposed on another set of lines or dots.”

The design for the packaging is well executed, but it bothers me that the concept of Moiré was chosen because it’s trendy, it has nothing to do with the actual product of markers and pens. Moiré patterns appear on-screen and in print processes…. You’d never come across them in anything hand-drawn (this product line is for sharpies, ball point pens and hi-liters)… It just doesn’t seem right.
