Mr. Burglar Whiskey

“A self initiated project to design the packaging for a whiskey bottle.
The idea: I wanted to tell the real story behind the brand through the packaging itself. Thus, Mr. Burglar is born, a brand with an attractive packaging meant to highlight an intrinsic peculiarity of high quality spirits. The central element is Mr. Burglar himself, a gentleman whose style matches the essence of the brand.
To further enhance the concept I used thermosensitive paper. Once buyer touches the label, their fingerprints become visible, creating a tactile connection with the product.”

Really love the idea of the thermosensitive paper – such an appropriate solution (could even be the solution in itself). The stroke around the text in the logo looks strange with a white background, but on the bottle it looks really nice.

The Mr. Burglar character really helps create a beautiful logo.

The fact that it’s heat sensitive is the major sell for me, very well thought out! The colour of the bottle, and the dark brown of the label are stunning together.

It’s very important to note that in order for a whiskey to be considered a scotch it must be produced in Scotland. There would be no such thing as a scotch whiskey produced in England.
