This illustration and colour scheme both are good.

I first thought it was mints, then I read the title.Ii like the idea of doing something different but wouldn’t you still want the consumers to be able to tell the products that’s in the package by looking at the package? This is a nice package but it’s confusing to me and doesn’t tell me anything about what’s inside at first glance. The design is distracting, so it takes a while to notice the name, and the coffee cups in the design (which I just notice after glancing at it for the 3rd time)

I have to agree w/ Maryline.
This is a nice package but might be confuse by the consumers. I thought this is for a tea.

Top work. But instead of Spain, this is from Finland. And this coffee brand is very well known , almost iconic, in Finland so within finnish market no consumer would be confused.

@ Jani: When we mention the country in our posts it’s based on the location of the designer as opposed to the location of the product.

It’s funny to think that when I looked this package, I knew it was coffee. The name/brand “Paulig” and it’s visual image truly is so well known in Finland, that I wouldn’t have to think twice “what is this”. But of course, foreign people wouldn’t have a clue by just looking the package.
