Pericarp Oil

“There’s something rather regal about the mangosteen fruit. Maybe it’s the deep color of the rind, or the pure white fruit it holds, or the density of its nutrients. Whatever it is, it’s worth capturing. Which is what we’ve done in the packaging for XanGo’s latest product, a multi-use serum made from all the goodness of the mangosteen. Traditional patterns speak to its origins, and hand treated type and brush stroke textures speak to natural organic beauty. The slide box reveals a product as unique as its custom die line.”

While it may look nice, it seems like excessive packaging. This aspect of consumption counters anything natural or organic about the design or appearance of the package. Nature doesn’t waste this much, so neither should the design. -Joe

Given that this is a glass bottle containing an expensive oil that will be shipped all over the globe the packaging is a perfect protective carrier.

If I’m going to spend a lot of money on something so small – it better come in a pretty package! This looks like a million bucks!

The box is functional to protect the very precious pericarp oil in it’s glass vial, and it’s recyclable, I have nothing but praise. Having also used the product, I consider it to be like liquid gold.
Beverly, one more time you have created a masterpiece that brings value, health and wellness to the world. There must be a special place in heaven for you.
Bless you,
janice

The name for this product is confusing since pericarp oil is used in some communities (as well as mine) for cooking.
Pericarp oil is also from palm and corn…so to suggest that it’s only from Mangosteen is really misleading.
The package is nice but overdone for what it’s trying to sell. Then again, that’s probably why they need the fancy packaging as pure pericarp oil is very cheap to buy.
