“I have designed cardboard milk packaging for glass milk bottles. The idea was to use a minimalist approach, keeping the packaging uncluttered and to make a bold statement as to what the product was.

The different types of milk were in different colours to make them easily distinguishable, with the number of bottles on the front indicating the number of milk bottles inside the package.”

Cute design, although I don’t think the milk bottles really need to be packaged into a box… it’s kind of a waste of material when the bottle and label typically does the job of advertising the product.

It’s beautifully simple and looks great, but I really don’t get the point of boxing up milk bottles at all. The bottle’s the best bit of glass-bottled milk!

Fair points jjayi and hardboiled. The idea of the designed box came from some lovely wine packaging I researched with the bottle inside a cardboard box. It made the product look more expensive. I wanted to use a similar philosophy with milk packaging to create the appearance of an expensive product, (even though its milk!) to stand out against other products that are just milk bottles.

    Thanks Billy for the comment

    two points on the box.

    1. two usually means value. cheaper then buy 1 and 1.
    2. it’s already in a box, has a handle. easy to carry. no need for a or two bag(s).

    design wise, it looks good.

    bonus point.
check out box wine. you might have something there. :-)
