Recent Capilano University graduate Jenny Kim sent in one of her projects.

“The name Milli is short for ‘millimeters,’  the unit that measures the size of bullets. It is also short for ‘millisecond,’ which is often the margin of victory in a foot race. The shoe is placed inside a bullet-shaped box, a symbol of power and speed.”

I like the bullet box but I think using a sprinters running shoe would have worked better. Very nice though.

Wonderful design! I would get a pair of shoes packed in that bullet box for my gun-aficionado brother and he’d keep that box as a center piece in his room.

bullets also kill… and they are a symbol of war, not speed and power!… Onitsuka Tiger was founded because Mr. Onitsuka wanted to help the youth of Japan after WWII, and he believed the way out of that in through sports… the brand wouldn’t agree on this concept… something to think about :)
