“My goal was to design an innovative package using a small amount of material. It’s made of natural microwaved carton and consists of one piece. The eggs are placed into ellipse-shaped cuts. The eggs are removed by turning the topside.”

Perfect Job! Nice Work.

Really gorgeous design! Did you test breakage? If this travels well, it could really catch on.
If it doesn’t travel well….it’s so cool, it’s worth inventing an egg-shaped product just to use this package.

extremely clever packaging

Great until you start using non-consistent egg sizes. Could be quite flexible though…

Awesome design, highly reusable and recyclable.

Clever looks,
But it. does. not. protect. the. eggs…. Put that package into your shopping bag with other items and you’ll soon have broken eggs. This is just another concept where cleverness does not provide a truly innovative solution – it’s just surface level. Try again.

I am interested in using this for the organic hen eggs we sell at http://www.goodthingsgrowhere.com
Is this idea available? Besides being an awesome design, it is useful to sell fewer and more expensive eggs (ours are the best ever tasted.

These boxes are great for small farms like mine. Beautiful packaging to give our beautiful eggs in. Added bonus: looks like these can flatten out for inexpensive shipping. Are these available for purchase?

Is this something that can be ordered?

Extraordinary carton! Yes, I too would like to purchase this carton for showcasing my wonderful eggs from my small farm flock of hens.

The concept would work if you did a full sleeve covering all the eggs. The tilted back concept would be good once you got it home in the fridge. Tilt it back when you need one, altho with paperboard it breaks down rather quickly. A food grade board like SUS would be best. However, as with most “cool concepts” this would be very difficult to manufacture in a folding carton facility. I am a designer myself… but working for the folding carton manufacture has taught me a lot in reproducibility.

Es un estuche muy practico, con los riesgos de roturas que manifiestan los demas comentarios, se lo puede pedir en algun sitio de sudamerica?.

Brilliant, elegant, simple, functional, efficient, beautiful design work! Perfect for anything spherical too; such as golf balls, tennis balls, etc! Well done!
If you extended a tab on the end with a hole in it; it could hang from a hook for something like sports balls.
