JDO Creates A Brand New Look For The Glenlivet’s The Sample Room Collection

Designed by: JDO | Country: China

JDO, the multiple award-winning design agency, has long been associated with the French alcoholic beverage brand Pernod Ricard. Designed by JDO, The Sample Room Collection marks The Glenlivet’s entry into the Prestige tier. The French brewers will launch the premium brand in China at the end of this month, with its eyes set on a global release in 2023.

“As other whisky brands cling to tradition, The Glenlivet embraces creativity as a way to evolve with the discernible, yet curious tastes of the next generation of whisky drinkers,” comments Malcolm Phipps, Associate Creative Director at JDO. “Our design strikes the balance between respecting the brand’s equities and reimagining them to elevate The Sample Collection into the Prestige Tier and signal that this range offers something different, new and special.”

The design

The centerpiece of the packaging design is the use of famous political personalities of the past. The use of such great personalities makes the brand look sophisticated and luxurious.

“Each of these characters has been the best in their professional life. So it was enough for us to convey the feeling to the audience that they have quality, luxury and professional products in their hands, and this issue is also quite clear in the windows of hypermarkets.”
