Widdack Design, a Novi Sad-based creative agency, recently created the artwork of Lying Pirates. Inspired by liar’s dice, Lying Pirates is an exciting multiplayer board game all set to take the market by storm. In addition to including some elements from the classic liar’s dice game, Lying Pirates has “some new twists and turns to give you an experience that is fast, entertaining, and easy to play with tiles, action cards, special dice, and more.”
“…Thanks to interchangeable tiles, there are over a million different ways to create your own sea map. Once you’ve mastered the game, you can rebuild the sea and set sail again. Every game is unique and full of surprises.”
Every little detail seen in the board game has been designed by Widdack Design. From the dice to the illustrations, all the components seen on the board game have been designed by the creative agency.

We created more than 200 hand-drawn components: all have a unique style that makes every piece a delight to linger upon. All illustrations from tiles to coasters were crafted by Srdjan Vidakovic, a talented artist and designer from Serbia.”
