Arobase Designs Falklands 40th Anniversary Celebratory Spirit Packaging

Designed by: Arobase | Country: UK

DropZone Brewery collaborated with Arobase to design the brand and packaging of the limited-edition spirits in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War.

The packaging design takes inspiration from the Navy, Army, and Airforce. In addition to military insignia, uniform colors, and battle maps, the packaging displays historic photographs and authentic letters. The combination of various military artifacts graphically displayed through the packaging labels makes the brand look premium and modern.

“DropZone Brewery, endorsed by the SouthAtlantic Medal Association 82 (SAMA 82), are proud to launch a limited-edition rum, whiskey, and gin to support the veterans of the Falklands conflict with the aim of maintaining and promoting a sense of pride and comradeship among all involved in the South Atlantic campaign.”

Talking about the packaging, Arobase mentions:

“We sourced tactical maps from the conflict to tell the story of each division (land, sea, air) visually across the secondary packaging. The maps are printed in full on the reverse of the bottle labels to be revealed as the liquids are consumed and details were used to decorate the back of the secondary packaging tubes.”
