“Bella Ciao” or “Goodbye Beautiful” is an Italian folk song popularized by the mondina workers. The farmers sang the song in protest against extremely difficult working conditions in the paddy fields. The song was later modified and became the anthem of the Italian resistance movement against the Nazi fascist.
The larger beer of the same name pays tribute to the anthem and humanity’s struggle against socio-political oppressions.

The packaging
The focus behind the design is to highlight the vigor of the protest. Inspired by the 70s Italian Futurism and Demonstrations, Marcel.net Studio created these striking and amazingly attractive packaging designs.
The design agency mentions the following:
“The main purpose of the design is to express the power of the protest, using a strong combination with a striking contrast between the colors red, black, and white. In addition, the style depicts the vibrant, expressive, and even lo-fi quality finishes of the vintage underground political print materials.”
