Botanica Origins: Arts Meets Packaging

Design by: Abio Design | Country: United States

The world has taken an unimaginable leap forward in terms of technological advancements. While it is true that the world has made inconceivable progress in the last two decades, it has also seen its share of losses. From fake news to global warming to nonorganic food production, the world is moving backward quickly. And the irony: with all our technological progress, we cannot buy ourselves a plate of organic happiness.

Among the few brands that want to change all that is Botanica. The brand offers “high quality and nutritious foods ethically sourced from their native habitat.” Abio Design Studio, a Brazil-based branding and design agency, is the brain behind creating these attractive and artsy packaging designs that take customers closer to nature and the native habitat of these superfoods.

The artwork for each product range is unique and transports the buyers to another world. The packaging features beautifully-crafted designs of stunning landscapes in sync with the superfood’s native habitat. The hand-drawn images portray the brand ethos and its two-fold mission:

“Offer ingredients in their pure and natural form, that not only taste as good as they do in their native habitat, but also provide the optimum health benefits as intended by nature while giving people the transparency to reconnect with what they eat by understanding its origins.”
