While the world is rapidly changing, some things remain the same and lie hidden only to be discovered by a few curious ones who have realized that the world is more than what it seems. Among things that remain hidden from the world is the soul. The soul remains hidden from people’s eyes, waiting for the right person to discover it.
El Alma de Gildo has based its idea for the packaging design on the need for people to discover the soul that lies hidden behind a veil.
JAVIER GARDUÑO ESTUDIO DE DISEÑO mentions:
“El Alma de Gildo is a tribute wine to Hermenegildo García, one of the wisest viticulturists in the city of Toro who has just turned 100 years old. For the concept we are based on the idea that the soul is something that is there but cannot be seen, it has to be discovered as it happens on the label. Through a complex die cut we form a “pop up” that if you lift it you finish reading the full name of the wine. On the label there is also a deboss print poetry written by Gildo and to close the bottle we use white sealing wax with a diagonal finish to accentuate the premium format of this exclusive wine.’
