UK-based tea company, From Trees, is known for using leaves, barks, and flowers in its products. Founder Lou Astbury believes that his products have the power to reconnect with nature which in turn would enhance a person’s health “and the wellbeing of the planet.”
From Trees partnered with the Falmouth-based creative agency Kingdom & Sparrow to create a strong brand name that would highlight the company ethos clearly.
“A strong and clear brand name that captures the essence of the brand. We also created a purposefully gender neutral brand identity and distinctive illustrative assets that hark back to the ancient legacy of trees. Hand drawn circles communicate the brand purpose, but also highlights circular living and the ecologically inspired blends. To help with product navigation, we developed a bold messaging hierarchy and color range. The charcoal-drawn trees bring taste appeal to the navigation whilst also evoking the textures of the forest.”
Kingdom & Sparrow “created a unique tea brand” that speaks directly to nature lovers and explorers. Furthermore, the packaging designs highlight the From Trees experience to customers.

It germinated together and survived the challenges of early interrogation, navigating through to creating a brand that we feel very proud of.
Our brief combined inspiration from multiple elements; nature, health, wellness, outdoor sports, science and cultural traditions.
