Introducing the s778 Heritage gin, the first gin from Brač, Croatia. This gin is a tribute to the island itself. Its name cleverly combines universality and local heritage. The letter ‘S’ is meant to represent the Sun, Sea, and Stone (Sunce, Sol, Stina), while ‘778’ is the peak altitude of Brač, making it the highest in the Croatian coast.
The label design is a focal point, featuring a minimalist representation of Brač Island through a ‘glow’ effect inside the bottle. Vidova Gora’s peak is marked distinctly, and a subtle compass rose graces the background. The inner side of the label reveals a text, that is reminiscent of a message in a bottle, adding depth to the product’s narrative.
The label’s design goes beyond the visual, incorporating a tactile dimension. This is achieved through a hand-stamped, white wax seal bearing a stone wall pattern, which is symbolic of family ties and Brač’s architectural legacy. This bespoke stamp ensures each bottle is unique. The design’s duality is striking – a white exterior representing family, against an island-representing interior, accented solely by bronze foil. In a final nod to Brač and its renowned stonework, the bottle is capped with authentic Brač stone.
The design for s778 is a narrative that encompasses Brač Island’s heritage, topography, and culture. Each bottle is a visual delight, a tactile exploration, and a distinctive artifact that mirrors the singular beauty of Brač.
