Located in northwestern South America, Columbia is known for the Andes Mountains, Emeralds and some of the finest chocolates in the world. According to the International Cacao Organization, 95 percent of the country’s cacao falls under the category of ‘Fine Flavor.’ One of the largest producers of cacao in the world, Colombia is filled with hundreds of regions perfect for growing the tropical plant.

Kakao is a local venture that has set its eyes on taking advantage of the different varieties of cocoa readily available in the region. 

The packaging

The packaging design focuses on positioning the brand as an artisan collection of superior chocolates. In addition to the information about the origins of the products, the packaging oozes “Colombianess” through the geometrical patterns and the vibrant colors.
