Ilsan, a top-selling jam brand in Taiwan, has been in the market for decades. However, the jam brand decided it was time to change its packaging with the evolving taste of the consumers.
The company approached Onebook, a Taiwan-based design studio, to overhaul its current packaging design.
The new packaging follows the brand’s spirit: “to make every bite of jam a fresh one.” Each flavor comes with a unique packaging that visually communicates the taste to the consumers. “The inspiration of the image comes from the combination of elegant and simple spoon and delicious fruit, presenting a natural bite of delicious mood.”
The unique packaging is rich in shelf value. The jam jars are designed in a way that they easily attract customers when they are sitting on a shelf of a store. Fuji Apple Jam, for example, has the image of apples on the label, communicating everything about the brand in the simplest way possible. Customers and potential buyers can easily understand what the brand is all about. The packaging is simple and minimal yet powerful.
