Designed by: Slice Design | Country: UK

Slice Design, a London-based branding agency, worked on developing the brand identity and packaging designs for Pure Nosh Tofu Chips. The company offers hand-made tofu chips that come in a variety of flavors, plus they are vegan.

“Based on a positioning of “Don’t take life too seriously,” Slice created pack designs that reflect the brand’s cheeky and irreverent nature. Pure Nosh’s flavors pack a punch and their chips offer an unrivaled taste experience so it was key the packaging highlighted the individual, bold flavor combinations used and stood out from the crowd.

The packaging

The branding agency created illustrations for the label based on the flavors, making it easier for the customers to pick up their favorite ones when sitting on the shelf. The four flavors, Wonderful Wasabi, Superb Sour Cream & Chive, Brilliant Barbecue, and Splendid Salt & Vinegar, have different personalities, which the packaging design beautifully brings out.

Alan Gilbody at Slice Design Limited commented, “We rooted the brand in ‘The new normal in snacking’ and use juxtaposing collages that mirror the surprising combination of tofu and snacking. As Pure Nosh is handmade and quintessentially British, the pack designs are inspired by Monty Python and include humor that is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!
