“Patagonia Provisions is a line of food directly linked to its source, seeking to create a sustainable form of nourishment. In order to communicate this unique initiative, we created a design that speaks directly to the source of the product by featuring wild sockeye salmon as the hero of the package. The back of the pouch tells the story of the product along with visual icons that accompany preparation instructions.”

“The greatest challenge was to develop a new product focused on mass market for the new Brazilian consumers, offering a high-quality product but affordable cost . To achieve that results, low price, highly attractive and environmentally responsible products would be necessary. More than a classic design process, an innovation by design approach was applied. The creative team participated in all areas of the process. The naming, the packaging, formulation, business model, distribution, manufacturing, etc.

A collaborative project with the participation of all stake holders, testing several scenarios virtually and physically. Financial analysis and environmental impact were used while mockups and new tests were performed. Market researches was conducted to identify trends of habits and usage of our target consumer in parallel with trips looking forward to new production technologies.”

The size and weight of a penny, PPs come in a variety of colours and patterns to individualize loafers based on personal taste or function.

Penny Proper (PP) is a Canadian fashion brand that allows for the personalization of the classic penny loafer. Launched in 2011 by two trend-setting friends faced with the issue of how to accessorize their penny loafers, PPs come in a variety of colours and patterns.

The colour of the wax seal on the package denotes the colour of the coin inside.”
