“A project that pays homage to the first South American Pope in history. From Argentina, the birthplace of Pope Francisco, a wine designed in two varieties (Malbec and Chardonnay) represents the transformation of Jorge Bergoglio (Cardinal) to Pope Francisco.”
“This is the first Cut Cover 7” vinyl sleeve from ACDSleeve for Minus The Bear – Steel and Blood on Big Scary Monsters Records. The cut out sleeve was designed around a printed inner sleeve provided by DMS. A total run of 300 cases were made, they were machine cut then hand scored, folded and assembled then individually hand numbered by Big Scary Monsters. Also included is a work in progress photo of a batch of 50 cases after cutting ready to be scored.”
“R Design was approached by Tesco to redesign their entire range of standard and standard plus fresh fish that covered over 50 lines.
The idea was to emulate the buzz and atmosphere of a bustling fishmongers/fish market. The labels were designed to reflect the hand crafted feel of a chalkboard. All the typography was hand drawn and paired with illustrations that highlight the fish type. On the standard plus lines the illustrations change from the fish to that of the flavour or ingredient that comes with the product. e.g. King Prawns with Chilli & Coriander.
Bright colours are used throughout both ranges to differentiate between the fish type and create hierarchy within the product titles and descriptions. The design was able to adapt across several pack formats achieving a consistent look across the range and strong stand out on shelf as well as engaging the consumer.”

“Jacqui Oakley was commissioned to produce some cover artwork for Two Crown King’s debut EP & we couldn’t pass up the chance to design a home for her astounding lion painting. We created a bright & in-your-face design for the the 12″ & CD gatefold packaging, with colours & textures suggested by elements of Jacqui’s piece. We’re happy to have given TCK a visual identity that they can run with while promoting the record.”
“Macho Man Randy Savage, has got to be the most unique and idiosyncratic character in the history of professional wresting. There’s really no one else like him and he defies all attempts at labelling or categorisation. He was a writhing muscular mass of bizarre ticks and personal mannerisms, clad in an ever-changing, endless wardrobe of hyper-flamboyant colours. A true one off, a heavy metal neon cowboy. What better muse for ilovedust?”
“The CD package may be on the decline but that decline also creates an opportunity to stand out. For their new EP, Rabbit Children wanted to create a package that could be used as both a self promotion tool and appeal to their fan base. The limited edition letterpress printed package, which includes an insert with illustrations inspired by the band’s lyrics, was sent to music journalists and bloggers, radio stations and concert promoters. The packaging helped create awareness for the new release by standing out from the generic CD comps and digital download codes typically sent by most labels.”
“Fancy Fins is a line of quirky decorative craft scissors that is guaranteed to make a splash with artistic youngsters. The packaging itself acts as a safe and reusable carrying case with an easy lock system, and reveals the cut pattern of each pair of scissors through patterning and use of a die cut.”

“Butlers came to us about a year ago when Blacksticks Blue, their absolutely stonking cheese, was languishing on shelves. This special cheese is lovingly handmade (like every cheese the Butler family produces) with a loyal following, but its safe, old packaging was in need of some TLC.
They trusted us to create a simple look that means business. The first thing we did was incorporate the trees that inspired the unusual name on the pack – in the winter the trees near the dairy look like black sticks. Then, we wrote up this lovely story and crafted the strapline ‘Handmade with love’.
Now Blacksticks Blue has a spanking new identity and new followers, including celebrity chef Simon Rimmer. Our relationship with Butlers is growing too and we have lots in the pipeline to make all their cheeses look as good as they taste.”
