“We recently rebranded Cheribundi, an all-natural tart cherry juice drink. Cheribundi is not the artificial flavor-filled red sugar water labeled as “cherry juice” that you drank as a kid. Cheribundi is made from orchard-fresh, tart cherries which are full of phytonutrients and anthocyanins.

The design was inspired by Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We brought this concept up-to-date by pairing textural watercolor illustrations with clean type and a modern wordmark. All of these elements work together, distinguishing Cheribundi as a sophisticated beverage offering.

This is the first line in a series of rebranding efforts for Cheribundi. In the coming months we will be releasing the Functional line of Cheribundi as well as a Tea Refresh line.”

“New packaging for enhanced water Bot marks the brand’s relaunch as an adult-targeted beverage. The new look is by advertising/design agency TDA.

The new brand identity is characterized by a prominent, white dot pattern, intended to appear modern, friendly and light. Super-primary color blocking (green, orange, blue, red, yellow, purple) across the different flavors aims to create a strong shelf presence. In their previous design format, the bottles shared a common white background, with different colored type and different kids’ characters for the different flavors.

Bot was introduced in 2007 as a kids’ beverage, with marketing targeted to moms. It is a slightly sweet, low calorie, flavored water with all-natural ingredients (no HFCS, no dyes) and enhanced with vitamins and minerals. The drink proved popular with adults and will now be targeted to health-minded adults, 18 – 34. The formula is unchanged.”

“We started this company from scratch in partnership with Kreloff Equity Partners. It is a for profit company that donates one condom in developing countries for every condom we sell in the U.S. The design is intended to be more appealing to consumers than the very pharmaceutical offerings currently on shelf. The condoms can currently be found at Paul Smith, Fred Segal, Viceroy, and Whole Foods with plans of expanding distribution in 2011.”
