Monaghan-based creative agency, Backbar Studios, created the packaging design of Two Shores.
The premium golden rum is produced in Panama and then aged for eight years in select barrels “on the west coast of Ireland to develop its unique character and flavor.”
The bottle reminds one of the old-style squat rum bottles. The label on the bottle looks exquisite with its multilayered textures. The ocean waves are beautifully represented through gold and blue layered illustration.
The design agency mentions:
“This was a wonderful opportunity for us to experiment with custom-created luster inks. This beautiful and unique effect was developed to echo the ebb and flow of the two oceans and affords the final label a subtle sense of movement. This textured approach is consistent across the current range of four different rums, each with its own bold color variation, in turn contributing to a striking set of rum drinks.”
