Our Thinking. Performance fused with user friendly. Like the dashboard in your car. Neutral colours fused with guiding spot colours. Our principle. The the bigger and brighter the information, the more important to take note of it.

The result. A versatile, user friendly design and pictogram system spanning 130 products in 10 categories.”

“The briefing (in brief): “We need an oil gift packaging”.

The target consumer: Travelers. People who wish to offer an example or the sense of a trip and its experience through food.

The design: Gift packaging can be the most dynamic ambassador of a certain design reality. Products are thus shared and appreciated beyond national borders as part of a cultural experience and its shared memory. Each such assignment poses a significant challenge for mousegraphics, as it has to be both about identity and practical use in a state of transit. We designed the 4 bottles packaging – combo as a 4 pieces puzzle. Each part carries one of the letters comprising the Greek word for oil (λάδι). Users can deconstruct and reconstruct it as a language game; they can become familiar with the shapes and forms of Greek language while enjoying an unusual, precious looking, albeit very practical group of oil vessels.”

“Our brief to create original packaging design for a new Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced by The Getty Family in South Africa and the only element to the design brief that was mandatory was to ensure that we used the “Old Oil Logo” from yesteryear. As a result the whole design began to take on a deliberately retro feel, including the choice of colour, typography etc. with illustration by Doug Powell, all done locally.”

Melgarejo

Four elements form the proposal: typography (Colette. LuxTypo. Greg Lindy), color, illustration and materials (Paper board Symbol Card PremiumWhite by Fedrigoni). Once again we feel confident about color white as the main distinctive sign for the Premium selection.”

“As Orontas grew in terms of product offerings we realized that we weren’t going to be just a chemical company anymore because our philosophy – to make well-designed, responsibly-made, technical products – extends beyond that and we felt our existing brand reflected us as “oil company” too much. As a result, we needed a brand that could work on many different types of products and apparel and in many different counties and languages, so we made the switch.”

Cultivar Taggiasca

“Sacone is a small farm located in the Riviera Ligure. It’s a family company that is growing thanks to the great passion of owners and offers high quality products. The Extra Vergine Olive Oil “Cultivar Taggiasca” is probably one of the best olive oils available on the market. The request was to create a packaging that would match the content and to design a “corporate Identity” with a strong image joint to the location and the tradition. The label is made with silk-screen printing in one color and it is done directly on the bottle. This choice, has been made not only by aesthetic issues but also by functional needs. Competitors usually use a paper label that becomes greasy during use. Otherwise the box is made of black cardboard , where the graphic is printed with hot foil, while the logo, manually applied, is made of real wood realized by laser cutting.”

Èlia Olive Oil

“Èlia is a feminine name, from the Greek word “ελιά” (olive). In accordance with its name, a subtle feminine touch has been given to both the brand (with the typographic game of the logotype) and the packaging itself.

Èlia’s first product is a selection of aromatic oils.”

Mas Marcè

“Every good countryman curses the bones of the thrush because in cold weather it is this bird that eats the olives. Nevertheless, this fact indicates a healthy olive grove. And this is true in the case of the olive grove based on ecological production, from which a native variety extra virgin olive oil known as Argudell is extracted. Illustration and typography merge to represent this scene, taking advantage of the round drop that reminds one of an olive hanging from a branch that has just been broken off.”
