“Selvatica is a brand of fruit infused teas from the natural rain forests of Colombia. We wanted to portray the environment in which the Acai, Camu-Camu, Copoazu and the Arazá fruits grow. The illustrations depict the environment in which they flourish, the animals that feed from them and how the harvest is collected. We created a small window into the Amazon rain forest.”

Designed by Karsh Hagan | Country: United States

“To coincide with their brand launch and opening of their first tea lounge, Platform T needed packaging that embodied their fresh take on the tradition of tea. The custom copper tin with stamped logomark was designed to be sophisticated yet modern. The topographic pattern invites the drinker to dream of travel while the icons and typefaces show the brand’s playful nature. The smooth metallic tin contrasts the rustic wood and stone textures of the lounge’s interior. To further bring to life the lure of travel and the global story of tea, the packaging for their high-end reserve line was inspired by the ornate iron archways that frame train stations all over the globe.”

“Tea drinkers are individuals of strong character, people who like to indulge in a moment of deceleration in their daily lives, and this is the target group of Teahouse Exclusive’s “Everyday Line”. The packaging is of a bronze, shimmering quality and adorned with loosely drawn images of different cups and teapots, while thanks to a bold, colour coding approach, each tea variety immediately catches the eye. The typography has also been 100% handpicked, just like the teas themselves, with individual writing styles that promote their originality. This is as personal as it gets.”

“Do your thing! Be it in super markets, gourmet food or tea shops, nowadays nothing but conventional tea that lacks design and quality comes across your way.We decided to change that and break with all traditions of the tea establishment. The brand name “POP TEE” is derived from the Pop Art movement which shocked the art establishment in the mid-50s in a way we want to shake today’s tea market. Our goal is to breathe new life into the industry by combining puristic design and vivid hues with organic teas of the highest quality. The idea of POP TEE is based on a clear-cut sustainability concept and social involvement which means that we environmentally friendly produce and ship our products and partner with Slum-Kinder Kunst, an organization that supports young children in Third World countries.”

Brew Tea Co.

Designed by Interabang | Country: United Kingdom

“Brew were looking to expand into the retail sector, having firmly established themselves supplying tea wholesale to independent shops, museums, galleries and boutique hotels. The rebrand was needed to coincide with this new direction, and also to clarify their offer: not complicated tea or weird tea, but better tea –  both whole leaf tea bags and loose leaf.

We wanted to express this no-nonsense approach, but also covey their enthusiasm and passion for brewing the perfect cup of tea that quickly became apparent during the familiarisation process. Bold, confident typography is offset by a vibrant palette and playful, unexpected icons to denote the seven flavours. The carefully selected contents were brought to the fore on the back of the pack along with the method for brewing the perfect cuppa.”
