Designed by Alaskan Rock | Country: Australia

“Alaskan Rock vodka is new entrant to the small Australian artisan spirits scene. It is a small-batch hand-made vodka distilled in Tasmania using malted barley and launched online January 2013. The vodka is named after a cocktail incident that occurred in the 1970s (long story). Alaskan Rock is double distilled  in copper pot stills for a crisp flavour and smooth finish. It is an excellent sipping vodka although those who wish to mix it will enjoy that too.”

Delhaize Soup

February 8, 2013 | 6 Comments

Designed by Lavernia & Cienfuegos | Country: Spain

“The brief was to bring to life the principle ingredient, preferably through the use photo-realistic images, with something that adds a touch of good humor before serving.

The romantic image of the waiter’s hands gives positive connotations of good service and quality. The steady black and white photography helps to visually unify the whole range, which is complimented by use of simple bold typography to balance the design. The size of the ingredients, in colour,  have been exaggerated in relation to the plate to emphasise the high natural vegetable content of the soups in comparison to its competitor’s. This play on size coupled with the waiter concept adds the touch of humor. Bon appétit!”

Designed by Michelle Wang | Country: United States

“This is a branding and packaging project for beer being brewed in the White House. Instead of being sold in stores, honorary guests receive this as a limited edition four-pack sampler from the President.  This fictional brand is named We the People, drawing inspiration from the historic documents on which our nation is founded on. The labels on each bottle pay tribute to a different document. Similar to how these documents are displayed in the National Archives in Washington DC, the packaging is meant to be utilized as a display case.”

December 9, 2012 | No Comments

Designed by Frost* Design | Country: Australia

“Sydney chef Hamish Ingham came to Frost* with a challenge to relish - literally. His new range of gourmet sauces and relishes needed a distinctive packaging solution and Frost* created a scheme that is as tasty as the contents. Bold letterpress typography speaks to the honesty of the ingredients and references the décor of his flagship restaurant, Bar H, in Sydney’s hip and happening Surry Hills.

Hamish’s range of gourmet sauces and relishes include Soy, Fennel & Chilli Oil Dressing, Caramelised Tomato & Ginger Relish, Soy, Lemon & Horseradish Sauce and Olive Oil. Frost* also designed the Red and White Wine labels as part of the family.”

4Elements

November 26, 2012 | 1 Comment

Designed by Chris Trivizas | Country: Greece

“The Markogianni winery is located in Skilountia of ancient Olympia, in Peloponnese. As the project referred to the creation of labels for four products of the winery (white, rose and red wine and aged ‘tsipouro’), our goal was to create a tetralogy with a common visual identity, a clear vision and strong differentiation from the competition.

Inspiration for the labels came from the four elements of nature (water, earth, air and fire), also inextricably linked with the creation of these spirits. The color of the wines led to the choice of the corresponding symbols, while the high concentration of alcohol in the ‘tsipouro’, led to the assignment of the symbol of fire.”

Maison Dandoy

October 9, 2012 | 4 Comments

Designed by Base Design | Country: Belgium

“With values rooted in the past but a business plan oriented toward the future, Dandoy asked Base Design in 2011 to modernize and rethink its visual identity, packaging range and website. The main questions to solve were “How do you transform a small-scale, local family business into a global family brand, without losing the image of local craftsmanship and true tradition?” and “How to reach a broader audience?”.

To tackle these questions, Base Design started with interviews in the field to gauge the context. This was followed by an analysis of Dandoy’s assets, opportunities and brand experience, a benchmark study, ideas for improvement and a workshop with the client. All this resulted in about ten design-strategy recommendations followed by a graphic design phase.”

Designed by Moon Troops – Creative Agency | Country: Lithuania

“HIGH VIT packaging design was meant to stress the functionality of these 3 drinks that were developed to support three important body functions. It had to be a mixture of pharmaceutical and traditional soft drink design details so MoonTroops creative agency chose a white background and implemented tasty colours for each different taste. “Keep it simple and straightforward” – this was the main mission of designing the package for this drink and it was accomplished.”
